Hmmm...it's been quite some time since I did that but based on my sister doing it last year. Apply to as many and keep your options open? Might be costly though. Would give you more advice but it's 1:07 a.m. Bedtime for me. Ok here's a continuation of some tips. If there's time, do some information interviewing or gathering with people you know that is currently or was in the program or school you are interested in. Testimonials are a good way of finding things out as well. These can be found on message boards or on websites that talk specifically about a program or school. Look for additional resources that can provide more insight towards your preferences. I have created some message threads that provide tips on university applications. Check them out if you haven't already.

well, i applied to art programs so my preparation for the application is probably very different from yours. However, I did remember spending alot of time researching and reading the different programs offer by different universities. This is very helpful because even though some programs at certain Universities might be more well known than the other, they might not nessecary be the most suitable learning environment for you.

See if you can find people that are currently or have gone to the schools and programs you are interested in. Watch out for the biases though. Positive or negative.

read up on any program you are interested.. it is important to compare the programs between univeristies because they can offer very different things. I personally don't think you need to apply to too many schools because it WILL be expensive and you will usually get your top choices, unless you apply to unrealistic programs or you've been playing hooky! don't be frigthened by the requirements and applications - they are not as hard as you think they are. wellllpp.. GOOD LUCKY, my love
